Time & Location

London, 6 New St Square, City of London, London EC4A 3BF, UK

About the event

This event will be framed around an upcoming report by Transparency International UK (TI-UK) titled ‘ESG Governance: Coordinating Anti-Corruption and Sustainability in Practice’. The report aims to highlight that while navigating new sustainability legislation (the CSRD and CSDDD in particular) may be challenging, companies have existing expertise and processes they can leverage, including as part of their approach to anti-corruption and integrity.

TI-UK argues that designing, developing and implementing a new or updated sustainability programme is an opportunity to coordinate anti-corruption and sustainability processes, which are interconnected and mutually reinforcing areas of company practice. It is also an opportunity to establish a system of ESG governance grounded on principles of accountability, integrity and transparency.
