TIPS Newsletter | December 2024 - TIPS: 2024 Achievements - A Big Thank You!

The TIPS team

Updated: Feb 10

Dear TIPS Member,

It has been another busy and exciting year for the TIPS Network!

A huge thank you to the brilliant TIPS Managing Committee for continuing to volunteer their time and effort to keep the TIPS Network thriving and supporting TI-UK.

This year, we have welcomed an impressive collection of guest speakers who have dived into key issues including anti-corruption enforcement trends, the future of AML supervision, online safety, and the impact of artificial intelligence and open banking on the financial landscape.

Highlights include the TIPS Summer Social and marking the network’s six-year anniversary with a panel discussion on how technology is shaping public policy and influencing tech-driven governance in practice. In 2024:

  • TIPS grew to more than 675 members (up from 575 in 2023).

  • TIPS hosted 12 TIPS events featuring more than 35 speakers.

  • TIPS hosted its fourth mentoring programme, which continues to match young professionals and academics with TIPS members.

  • Welcomed two Committee Observers from TI-UK.

Thank you to the network for your support of TI-UK, TIPS, and the anti-corruption movement!

In 2025, we look forward to continuing to promote the anti-corruption agenda and leveraging our collective experience for the greater good!

Please see below the TIPS Newsletter for December 2024. We look forward to seeing you soon.
